Mixed Media art is a concept which was developed during the 20th century, post the period when modern artists began to bend the rules of traditional high arts such as Painting and sculpture. Mixed media art is well-known by both professional and hobby activities related to art.

Mixed media art signifies the use of different media in the creation of one work. Rather, it is a form of visual arts that makes used of multiple mediums say for example acrylic and watercolor or ink and watercolor etc. Mixed media art is not just limited to paintings but also while creating books and boxes, handmade greeting cards, artists’ trading cards, Journaling and book making. Mixed media is the combination of all different paintings and different materials that can be used in magazines, newspaper, photographs and collage items.
