Born in 1973 and brought up in Kolkata, living in a crumbling family mansion in Bhawanipore, south Calcutta (now Kolkata), I grow up listening folktales and doing paint with my Uncle and used to go at Patuapara, Kalighat where idols are made which was to create the vocabulary of my future art. This had deep impact on me, and started reading avidly and drawing on paper for hours. I studied at ‘Behala College of Commerce’ and graduated in 1995. After complete the same I finished Interior Architecture Diploma from ‘Jenson & Nicholson’ in 1997. I am commenced my artistic career beyond my Service life in the 2010 participated with some Art galleries ,During this period I start also small drawings in pen and ink. Deeply inspired by Abanindranath Tagore was in water colour and Raja Ravi Barma in Oil paint.
