Born and brought up in Kolkata currently residing in Bangalore. Having worked some considerable years as an ux designer in the software industry I remained drawn to the traditional world of art. Hence I decided to make personal meaning by creating art full time. With the belief that artists should promote their own works I launched my website 'www.artbinita.com' with good intentions of creating online presence in the fine art market.
Diploma in Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata in early years had prepared me as an artist. Also further trained myself in Bangalore on various mediums like oil, acrylic and charcoal.
Exhibited my very first acrylic series ‘Sadhana’ meaning applying mind and intelligence in practice towards a spiritual goal at art gallery Chitrakala Parishath Bangalore in 2017. The series reflects the spiritual practices of an eternal master ‘Buddha’.

Times of India gave a full coverage July2017 "City women put the spotlight on bridging gap between artists and audiences" : Giving a peek into her body of artwork, lead artist Binita Shome Vora, who has left a job in the IT industry to delve into the arts full time, says, "I believe that art can rescue one from the turmoil and stress of everyday life. The majority of my art is based on spirituality, via which I strike to attain harmony and peace. We are always caught up in the past or present. Art helps you to live in the moment. One does not need to be an artist to practice art. An adult colouring book is all you need to vent."
