I am Bharti Indorkar, born and brought up in Indore (MP), India. I did my MFA from Devlalikar Institute of Fine Arts, Indore (Indira Kala Sangit Vishwavidyalaya, Kharagarh, Chhattisgarh). After marriage , I came to Gwalior (MP), India and joined Govt. Institute of Fine Arts as an Assistant Art Teacher (Paintings)) on ad-hoc/contract basis during the session1995-96 and 1997-98 and Appointed as an External Examiner in Govt. Institute of Fine Arts, Gwalior (MP) in 1998.
Since 1999, I based in New Delhi and working as freelance artist.
My paintings are inspired by the daily visuals of various facets and
colours of life. My emphasis is on emotions and expressions through
which I showcase my positive outlook towards life.
